  • Mutton Rassa Recipe – Serves 4
    Ingredients required:
    Diced Mutton (on the bone) – 500g
    Onions – 3 medium (around 150-200g)
    Tomatoes – 1 medium (around 100g)
    Ginger – 2 inches
    Garlic – 15-16 cloves, Green Chilli – 1
    Curd -3 tbsp. (around 75g)
    Oil – 5 tbsp.
    Coriander Leaves (finely chopped for garnishing)
    Instructions before cooking the recipe:
    Marinating the mutton: Marinate 500g of diced mutton (on the bone) with 3 tbsp. of curd and the entire contents of Meena Ki Fauj Mutton Rassa packet.
    Marinate the mutton for at least half an hour before cooking the recipe. For better results marinate the mutton overnight
    Onions – Slice them thinly and keep aside.
    Tomatoes – roughly cut and keep aside.
    Recipe:
    1. Heat 2 tbsp. of oil in a pan. Add thinly cut onions and fry till lightly brown.
    2. Add roughly cut tomato, ginger, garlic and green chilli. Fry on medium flame for 5-7 minutes. Let it cool a bit and then add this to a mixer and make a fine paste.
    3. Heat 3 tbsp. of oil in a pan. Add the above paste from the mixer. Add salt to taste (around ½ tsp.) Fry till oil separation is seen.
    4. Empty this cooked paste in a pressure cooker. Add the marinated mutton along with 100ml. of water.
    5. Close the pressure cooker lid and pressure cook for 2 whistles and an additional 10 minutes on low flame.
    6. Once the pressure cooker pressure is fully released, remove the lid and empty the cooked mutton rassa in a serving bowl. Garnish with finely chopped coriander leaves.
