  • Chicken Masala Recipe – Serves 4
    Ingredients required:
    Diced Chicken (on the bone) – 500g
    Onions – 3 medium (around 150-200g)
    Tomatoes – 1 medium (around 100g)
    Ginger – 2 inches
    Garlic – 15-16 cloves
    Green Chilli – 1
    Curd - 50g
    Oil – 4 tbsp.
    Coriander Leaves (finely chopped for garnishing)
    Instructions before cooking the recipe:
    Marinating the chicken:
    Marinate 500g of diced chicken (on the bone) with 50g of curd and the entire contents of Meena Ki Fauj Chicken Masala packet. Marinate the chicken for at least half an hour before cooking the recipe. For better results marinate the chicken overnight.
    Onions – Finely chop and keep aside.
    Tomatoes, Ginger, Garlic and Green Chilli – Put all these ingredients in a mixer and make a fine paste – keep aside.
    Recipe:
    1. Heat 4 tbsp. of oil in a pan. Add finely chopped onions and fry till golden brown.
    2. Add pureed paste of tomato, ginger, garlic and green chilli. Fry till oil separation is seen and the tomatoes are fully cooked.
    3. Empty this cooked paste in a pressure cooker. Add the marinated chicken.
    4. Add salt to taste ( ¼ tsp.) Add 150ml. of water. Close the pressure cooker lid and pressure cook for 1 whistle and an additional 5 minutes on low flame.
    5. Once the pressure cooker pressure is fully released, remove the lid and empty the cooked chicken masala in a serving bowl. Garnish with finely chopped coriander leaves.
